Gadget concepts that will blow your mind !!

After spending 8 long stays usefully preparing for interviews, learning SEO and Flash, I got back my broadband connection finally and am here to share something that I am browsing for the last 3 hours. While searching for a good site where I could buy some Robot toys I came across some awesome Gadget concepts that may be launched to market soon.

I really wonder if they are possible !! Will technology allow us to mend with these stuffs ??

The list goes here :)

1. Window phone concept

Is it a window, is it a phone? No. Actually, it’s Window phone and this is the part where you are saying “Whaaat? What are you talking about?”. The phone is actually a concept with extraordinary features. Surely if this could be actually put into production, it would set a new standard for the term “cool”.

2. Bio Robot Refrigerator

The Bio Robot fridge cools biopolymer gel through luminescence. It might look stinky and sticky but it’s actually an odorless gel that envelopes the food.

3. eRoll

eRoll could be the future of e-reading, along with iPad and another gadget that will be presented in this article. If you don’t want it to read ebooks on it, you can use it as a self defense weapon.

4. Folding-out Laptop

The Transformers wallpaper on this laptop says it all. This laptop transforms into a mega-laptop as soon as you unfold its keyboard.

5. Wind circle

This will surely start a lot of discussions with your house guests but besides that it will also cool the air in the room. Yeah, it does that too…

6. Bracelet phone

Concept phones are becoming very popular these days. The stranger their shape is, the more popular they get. Probably that’s why this bracelet phone got so many fans or because it has a round dialer on it, like in old land phones.

7. Newspaper of the future

Nowadays people try to find alternatives to using paper and they come up with interesting solutions. We already saw the eRoll in this article and tablets like iPad are made in a lot of variations today but Seon-Keun Park and Byung-Min Woo came with a different idea.

8. Geist Projector

We’ll keep on going with the balls issue but this time it’s about a projector. The mobility of the projected image is given by the levitating ball that sustains itself in the air with the help of electromagnetism.

9. Help Readers device

This device converts text to audio, helping you in case you have eye problems or because you’re infected with the laziness virus. in

10. Transparent Toaster

This innovative "Transparent Toaster" concept uses special heating glass to warm a single slice of bread. Unfortunately, the glass does not reach a high enough temperature -- at this time -- to actually toast the bread. No word yet on if this concept will go into production

10. Blackberry Empathy Phone.

There are more out there in the net.. Start googling for them if you are a GADGET FREAK !!

The 6 Habits To Be More Creative and Efficient

Living as a Designer in the generation where patience and long term visions are almost forgot is like being like a machine or a modern enslave... The deadlines expected by the clients are always impossible and the results expected are unimaginable.. So to stand out as the best among the free lancers you have to be EXTRA CREATIVE and have the TALENT to bring stunning results in very short span of time..

To be one such needs a lot of time to practice and gain experience.. But to start of follow these 6 simple steps :) Just remember them when starting your projects..

1. Organize your schedule very clearly

A good planning isn’t an easy task and anyone must pay full attention to it: a heavy schedule with no breaks isn’t possible to be respected and it is frustrating. A light schedule with few tasks to accomplish is another form of laziness and it is a constant laying to you. Many of us have big problems with the working time, some are feeling that waking up in the morning is better; others prefer the quietness of the night. Clearly, you should work when you are feeling well and happy, else all is turning into an uncomfortable lose of time. Don’t forget, what you plan is what you do!

2. Focus on a single major task, but assure yourself a variety of tasks

No one is Napoleon to be able to do multiple tasks simultaneously, but also no one can work for hours on a row on a single project without being bored of it. To produce masterpieces it’s obvious that a lot of effort and time is needed but inspiration is a matter of hours so only small tasks can be well done without any pause. The best recipe consists in altering the tasks in such a way to avoid boredom, the greatest enemy of creativity (very personal opinion).

One of these tasks should have the highest priority and all the efforts should be pushed to realize it.

3. Work as a professional no matter for what kind of Designs

Please don’t think that your clients are your superiors or the ones who pays your bills, they are only some people who need your services and it is quite normal that they should pay you. Keep in mind, your creativity needs some limitations to be optimal, but the pressure is a real disaster.

Any compromise is a back stain on your evolution so never give up being a pro. The middle way is always the best solution and here is no exception: don’t disturb your positive attitude (a very necessary condition of being efficient) being rude with your customers, it is perfect to have the diplomacy to make them understand that their requirements are in your head but they can’t interfere in your process of creation. Point!

4. Take care of your workroom!

Any freelancer is spending regularly many hours in front of his PCs, usually in a small private office or even in the house in an improvised work room, anyway the location isn’t playing a big role in the equation of improving the productivity. Living more than half of a day in this space multiplied with the number of the working days along a year will give you an idea about how important is this. A normal and very human reaction is simply to become tired of this medium and in consequences the creativity and efficiency is on a low level.

The remedy against this annoying fact is to make your room more enjoyable. I could say, from my experience, that it is really amazing, any small and pleasant modification has a positive effect on your workflow. A change of furniture is a good example, but very few of us can allow doing it often, but there are many other minor modifications which can have magical powers: the theme of your OS, the desktop wallpaper or the overall design of your workroom.

5. Pushing yourself to the limits isn’t equivalent with better results!

Pushing yourself to the limit every day, believing that you will work much more is false. The human being has its specific features and one of them is the fact that the effective power gets to a maximum limited to few hours per day and to reach again this peak is needed recreations and sleep. It’s true that the coffee is a”tool” for any freelancer but all these undoubtedly can’t replace the anatomical requirements.

Anyone should understand that any advance should be done with small steps and with a lot of patience; working today 2 hours and tomorrow 15 isn’t by far a good solution. No matter of the field of activity, but think of you as a marathon runner; nobody starts running 42 km from the first experience but with intelligent methods of trainings, in addition to a steel will, everything will became possible.

6. Everything is in vain if you neglect your family and friends

Being a workaholic isn’t a quality, personally I believe it is a disease and it needs a remedy because this kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. Everything can be bought these days besides family and real friends!

Android finally gets a web store :)

Up till now the only way to browse and search for Android Apps was from within your device, but has Google announced the Android Market Web store this week that allows you to search for the apps using web browser as well.

There’s nothing special about the website design, however, the Apps are placed neatly into categories and there is also a featured-app section on the top.

There are only two main categories, Games and Applications, each of which is further broken into many sub-categories. For now, there is no mechanism to sort the app according to different parameter which is much needed especially when you have over 100,000 apps.

One thing that I like about the website is the Individual Application page where you can read all the information about the app, the reviews, see detailed ratings, view related apps and even share it via twitter.

You can also login to the website using your Google account to see all your previous and current purchases and your Android device information.

You can also install the application to your device directly from the web. Here’s a recording of the Google event held on February 2 where they unveiled the Android Market Website along with Honeycomb.

Be safe from '11.6 hours' Virus

Twitter users beware! If you get a message titled "I have spent 11.6 hours on Twitter. How much have you?" do not click on the included link — even if it is from someone you know on Twitter — as it is a malware application.

The scam seems to be spreading, despite the fact that the linked application, called "Time on Tweeter", ‒ but that may changed by the attackers — actually requires you to authenticate it with Twitter before it does its nasty business.

It just goes to show how careless people can be in giving access to their social networks to unknown third-party applications. Although the gullibility of the general social-network public cannot be denied, perhaps such services should do more to educate users about the harms of such attacks, and get better at detecting rogue applications using their services?

Such scams are common on Facebook where the level of trust between friends is perhaps even higher, but are not unknown in Twitter either.
